Complaint Process 
Step 3: Investigation

Investigation begins when mediation fails or within 45 days of the filing of the complaint (within 30 days for Housing complaints).

All Position Statements, and all other requested documents, shall be submitted to OHR within twenty (20) business days of receipt (within 10 days for Housing complaints).

Complainant’s Responsibilities:
• Submits Rebuttal to Respondent’s Position Statements
• Submits Affidavits from Witnesses
• Submits Other Supporting Evidence

Respondent’s Responsibilities:
• Submits Position Statement
• Submits Responses to Interrogatories
• Submits Documents Required
• Complies with Onsite Investigations
• Complies with Witness Interviews
